COP (Car Operating Panel) and LOP (Landing Operating Panel) are control panels used in elevators to operate the elevator car and call it to a specific floor, respectively.

1. COP (Car Operating Panel):

- The COP is located inside the elevator car and is used to operate the elevator from within the car.

- It typically includes buttons for selecting the desired floor, along with other control buttons such as open/close doors, alarm, emergency stop, and door hold.

- Passengers can use the COP to select the floor they want to travel to by pressing the corresponding button.

- Once a floor is selected, the elevator car will move to that floor automatically.

2. LOP (Landing Operating Panel):

- The LOP is located outside the elevator car on each floor and is used to call the elevator to a specific floor.

- It typically includes buttons for each floor in the building, along with call buttons for up and down directions.

- Passengers waiting on a floor can use the LOP to call the elevator to that floor by pressing the corresponding call button.

- The LOP also indicates the direction of the elevator movement (up or down) and shows which floor the elevator car is currently at.

In summary, the COP is used by passengers inside the elevator car to select the desired floor and operate the elevator, while the LOP is used by passengers on each floor to call the elevator to that floor. Both panels work together to ensure efficient and safe operation of the elevator system.
